Because someone had to document the madness…

So…. after many years of thinking, “I keep finding all these weird issues that appear to have no fix listed anywhere online. I should make a blog to capture my findings,” I’ve finally decided to go ahead with it.

Am I making a mistake? Noooooooo idea. Here we are anyway!

First off—hi there!

My name is Trav. I’ve been in the IT industry for over nine years at the time of this post, though I’ve been playing with tech my whole life (not telling how long that is, but I’m starting to go grey if that’s any indication). For work, I’m a Senior Systems Engineer and have worked with a few different companies in Australia. I primarily deal with Azure infrastructure and Microsoft software. For the last five years, I’ve been lumped with this clunky piece of software known as Configuration Manager (hooray).

Outside of work, I’m your typical nerd. I’m right into gaming, cards, and being a weirdo with mates. I’ve got a pretty decent book collection that I like to bury myself in when things get overwhelming, and I also love anime—surprise surprise!

Forewarning when reading through my posts: a lot of attempts to fix things can also break things if you aren’t careful or don’t know what you’re doing. So please, PLEASE do your own research before trying anything. I highly recommend playing around in a test environment or your own playground to build confidence before running anything. I’ve broken my fair share of things!
